We have added a safety feature in our vest by including a pressure relief valve so you reduce the risk of overinflation of the vest by fitting the wrong CO2 canister.
Incorporates all the features you need with a Automatic inflation system that activates when you enter the water within 3 seconds using a 56 gram CO2 cartridge resulting in flotation twice that of a normal PDF device.
As these vests are designed for PPG frames the end result is a better fit as the inside U is wider than any other flotation device on the market today and more comfortable for the pilot when inflated as they allow more headroom
The external covers are made from heavy duty black canvas and have a number of tie down points for added security.
The compact design makes this a fit and forget unit that can stay on your frame during every flight and with luck may never need to be used in anger, however come the day you find youre about to get wet feet this will a be great investment as the percentage of deaths from PPG water landing is higher than I am willing to except for landing in water without such a life saving device.
Having tested the unit myself on a number of occasions I have found it a stress free system that inflates quickly and without assistance and allows you time to sit and wait for assistance, slowly unclip from the harness or untangle yourself from any lines you may have wrapped around from your paraglider. I was convinced by my partner to see what it was like to jump in the pool with a PPG unit without a flotation device and I can say the end result was very scary and without assistance I would have found it a life threatening experience even in the controlled environment of a pool as I soon found myself on the bottom under a great deal of stress. Makes the cost of a vest seem cheap after that test.
The Power Flaot Flotation Device has the manual and automatic inflation system, oral inflation, sturdy canvas coverand Velcro tie downs all included. Overseas customers will have to buy locally a ½ thread 50-60 gram CO2 Cartridge as these cannot be shipped by Air Mail.
